Fall 2012: Math 52
I taught this linear algebra course in the fall of 2012. The course head was Brian Cole. I prepared my own lectures and contributed to writing exams.Announcements
The final exam will be Friday, December 21 at 9am. Our last day of class will be December 11, and that day will be review. Here are some final review problems from me and Jonah. Prof. Cole's review problems have also been posted. I urge you to make a serious and honest attempt at working the problems yourself before looking at the solutions to my problems.
Office hours are Tuesdays 1:15-2:15pm in Kassar 012 and Thursdays 7-8pm in Kassar 105. I hope to see you there!

How to Succeed in Math 52
Here are some resources that I hope you'll find useful.
- Gilbert Strang, the author of our textbook has a lot of online resources for the class he teaches at MIT, including video lectures, video recitation problems, past exams (some with solutions), etc. See this website for the current MIT course, and the following two sites for the MIT Open Course Ware versions of the class: Fall 2011 and Spring 2010.
- Office hours will be Tuesdays 1:15-2:15pm in Kassara 012 and Wednesdays 7-8pm in Kassar 105 (enter like you do for MRC). If you can't make office hours, but still want to meet, send me an email or talk to me after class.
- MRC is held in KH105 Mondays through Thursdays 8-10pm. Most people use MRC for homework help, but tutors can also answer questions from class. It can get busy, so plan accordingly.
- The Science Center has free drop-in tutoring on Sundays from 5-9pm. You can also sign up for group tutoring.
