Since 1988, the Simon's Rock Jazz Ensemble has been jamming. The instrumentation and sound of the band changes slightly every year, reflecting the individuality and diverse talents of its members.
To date, we have recorded four audio compact discs: Jazz at the Rock, Volume I (1991) Volume II (1992), Volume III (1994), and Volume IV (1998). Copies of these recordings are available through the Simon's Rock Bookstore (413) 528-0771.
In addition to our concerts on campus, we have performed at other
colleges in the area. In January 1990, we played in New Delhi,
Calcutta, Istanbul, and Karachi on a performance/study tour.
